The Hylands Burren Hotel is a charming oasis of comfort and hospitality in the pretty seaside village of Ballyvaughan, at the foot of the Burren in county Clare, just east of Black Head and Fanore beach on Ireland's Wild Atlantic Way. For over a century travellers to the Burren have stayed in Hylands Burren Hotel, enjoying open fires, delicious food and comfortable bedrooms. The hotel is an ideal centre from which to explore the Burren Geopark, the Cliffs of Moher, the Burren National Park, the antiquities, castles and churches that make this area of west Clare so interesting and enjoyable. The hotel has 31 bedrooms, all ensuite, and three quaint bars that are full of character and charm. Hill walkers, cyclists, ramblers and families on vacation love this corner of Ireland, famous for its dry limestone landscapes, rolling hills, hidden valleys, endless beaches and warm atlantic waters.
