Predictive Control Systems DAC (PCS) uses Artificial Intelligence to reduce the cost of electricity for large energy users. We do this using our unique approach. In summary, we enable customers to switch to market-price electricity, which can be highly volatile, but at low-risk. We use real-time data from onsite plant, combined with electricity price and demand prediction information, to calculate an optimised, low-cost running schedule for plant, that is refreshed regularly throughout each day, and is implemented automatically. Compared to usual banded-tariff electricity pricing (day-rate / night-rate), our system delivers up to 30% saving on total electricity bills, depending on the site. PCS seamlessly integrates both energy consuming plant, and any customer-owned electricity generation assets, such as standby generators or renewable energy sources, so as to minimise the overall bottom line electricity cost. PCS is best suited to large energy users, where there is some flexibility in the timing of electricity use; e.g. water utilities, manufacturing plants and commercial buildings.
