Aug 2015-Mark Keating here from Whitewater Foundation,I want to let you know about my latest charity challenge which is an historical ‘Walk for their Lives 1915-2015” I will starting this walk on the 28th of August from Belgrade in Serbia.. I would appreciate your assistance by helping me raise enough money to buy badly needed equipment for children with cancer. My aim is to raise €20,000 buy much needed equipment which will really help their tough young lives for patients of St. John’s ward in Our Lady’s Children Hospital Crumlin, and also for the children’s cancer department in the Tirsova University Children’s hospital in Belgrade.As with other challenges we have completed in the past, 100% of the money you donate will go directly to buy specific needed equipment to help improve the lives of these sick children. I will be walking from Belgrade and will pass through 5 Balkan countries, Serbia, Montenegro, Albania, Greece, and Macedonian, a total of 2,000 km over some of the highest mountains in the region during the autumn and winter of 2015. I will not be traveling on my own this time, my black Labrador PAJO, with be with me keeping me company. 2013, Mark Keating will be starting his first solo charity cycle from Dublin to Belgrade and back this is to help the lives of very sick children in Serbia and in Ireland. At Temple Street hospital, the funds bought a new €26K incubator, in OLCH Crumlin a €26K brain monitor was purchased for ICU & €8K Skin grafter was purchased for Mother & Child Hospital Belagrade
