With a combination of scientific expertise and business acumen, we will deliver therapies that will save patient’s lives. Cala Medical was founded in early 2017 as a spin-out from the University of Limerick. Funded by angel investment and Enterprise Ireland, Cala Medical’s mission is to provide a much-needed new therapy for sepsis patients. We are working to advance our Cytoflow5 technology to clinical trial, and from there to the patient. Our easy to implement new therapy is designed to be used with pre-existing standard ICU equipment.
