The name ‘iNua’ is a blend of the term 'innovation'​ and the Gaelic word for 'new'​. Created in 2012 by Cork entrepreneur Noel Creedon, iNua Partnership embodied a fresh approach to investing in Ireland. Based on the concept of connecting investment capital to exciting business opportunities, iNua proved that it can serve as an integral partner in researching, bringing together and managing business deals. By connecting with individuals investors, financial brokers and a small group of Diaspora in Canada, all of whom iNua had built strong relationships with over the years, iNua Hospitality pooled money together into funds to buy Irish hotels that had significantly reduced in price due to Ireland's property crash. iNua's portfolio includes both Radisson hotels in Cork & Limerick and most recently, Muckross Park Hotel in beautiful Killarney. In acquiring and ensuring the active management of these hotels, iNua has taken these businesses out of financial difficulty, secured the employment of their workforce and set them on a solid path of sustained prosperity. In 2014, a new division called iNua Health was launched to invest in Ireland's nursing home sector. The sector is dramatically undersupplied to cater for the present and future requirement for nursing home beds in Ireland, which is causing a significant challenge to Ireland’s healthcare landscape. This will require considerable support from the private sector and iNua Health is committed to delivering client-focused services in top-class facilities. striking the right balance between the duty of care and the business of care. iNua believe that 2015 and beyond will continue to provide opportunities for it's investors, as they look to spread their wings by seeking further opportunities in Ireland and by exploring options internationally.
