CyCa OncoSolutions strives to develop molecular devices for 'on-demand'​ drug delivery and labeling living cells. Ours is a biomolecular assembly that drills through the membrane bilayer and delivers functional molecules into the cytoplasm or other cellular organelles as you instruct and fabricate it. We are translating this technology to develop a molecular drilling machine as a device to deliver anticancer drugs. Successful development of such a drug delivery device has a potential of reducing the side-effects of known chemotherapeutic drugs by efficient and specific intracellular delivery. This will have high societal and market impact given the fact that cancer is the one of the leading cause in mortality and morbidity worldwide (8.2 million death, 14 million new cases and expected rise by 70 % in next two decades) especially in the low- and middle-income countries. This will improve the quality of life of the cancer patients, advance the global fight against cancer and reduce the public health burden.
