The overall aim of Ballyfermot Chapelizod Partnership is to support the community to reach its full potential, to encourage participation, and to target its resources at those most in need in our community. The BC Partnership was set up in 1996 as a response to long term unemployment and poverty. In 2014 , the BC Partnership became Programme Implementers of a new local development programme named the Social Inclusion and Community Activation Programme (SICAP). The aim of SICAP is to reduce poverty and to promote social inclusion. The BC Partnership are now contracted to deliver SICAP as programme implementers , and with the support of our Board, the local community, our local stakeholders, the Local and Community Development Committee we will manage the programme under the three national programme guidelines.
