Situated on the Long Mile Road, the Farmhouse Café offers an escape from the hustle and bustle outside. Whether it’s a cup coffee and a freshly baked cake, a hot tea and a sandwich made with bread that’s baked in-house or a wholesome meal cooked with vegetables and meat from our farm in Enfield, we’ve got you covered. Using unprocessed, natural, Irish produce, our meals contain a high amount of nutrients without compromising flavour. Our menu changes through the seasons, purely to accommodate the variety of fruit and vegetables we grow in our walled garden. Not only does this ensure that our fruit and vegetables are reaching their maximum potential, it ensures that you’re getting the freshest food at its peak. It’s not just fruit and vegetables that are taken from our farm, we produce thick, tender, Irish Spring lamb and our own pork, bacon and pudding are from our Gloucester Old Spot pigs. We have our own in-house bakery where all the bread and cakes are made from scratch. There’s an abundance of mouth-watering aromas produced throughout the day in our café, from brewed Ariosa coffee beans and freshly baked bread and cakes to slow-roasting free-range chickens, ham and Dexter and Highland beef. At the Farmhouse Café we bake our own bread, cakes, scones… the long way. We don’t use any improvers or additives. We only make real bread, using the simplest of ingredients: flour, water, salt and time, sometimes we add nuts, seeds and fruit. We bake and supply ourselves with the bread for our sandwiches, but we also sell the bread to take home and take orders for scones, apple tarts and a lot more.
