Migrant Rights Centre Ireland (MRCI) is a national organisation working for justice, empowerment and equality for migrants and their families. Since 2001, the MRCI has taken a stand with migrants to tackle the root causes of inequality. We use a community work approach with a focus on participation, leadership and empowerment: almost 1,400 undocumented migrants have joined our Justice for the Undocumented campaign, hundreds of domestic workers campaign for rights through the Domestic Workers Action Group, and our Forced Labour Action Group is made up of people who have experienced trafficking for forced labour and are determined to stamp it out. Our Drop-In Centre provides free and confidential advice, support and information on some 2,000 cases every year. Our caseworkers and legal officer work together to assist people on a vast range of issues around immigration and employment - from straightforward visa renewals to severe labour exploitation.
