The Institute of Creative Advertising & Design (ICAD) lives by its mission statement 'to foster, promote and reward creative excellence in Irish Advertising & Design'​. To this end we hold events, exhibitions, workshops -including the annual Upstarts programme - and awards. The ICAD Awards are the annual awards for the achievement of Creative Excellence in Irish Advertising and Design. Our award, known as a 'bell'​, is considered the highest creative accolade in Ireland and we are seen to maintain standards of excellence.  ICAD is the oldest creative organisation of its kind in Europe and more than fifty years after it's inception it is still going strong - we have achieved the widespread acknowledgement, respect and support of the industry since 1958.
