Founded in 1985 as a non-profit organisation, our mission is to provide housing and individually tailored services to support people, primarily those with mental health difficulties, to integrate and live independent lives in the community. What We Do: Housing Development: HAIL owns over 320 homes in the greater Dublin area and surrounding counties. Our Strategic Plan outlines our growth programme of increasing the number of properties by up to 10% per annum over the next number of years. HAIL are looking for opportunities to work in partnership with other Approved Housing Bodies, Local Authorities, the HSE or property developers to deliver on this ambitious programme. Property and Estate Management: Our Housing Management team ensure that the highest standards of accommodation are maintained. The team are responsible for repairs, planned maintenance programmes, stock condition, rents, voids, lettings and estate management. Support Services: HAIL have a dedicated team of community based Mental Health Tenancy Sustainment Workers providing a wide range of mental health and tenancy support services to tenaants and clients. HAIL offer floating support services to our tenants and clients living in other forms of tenure, for example; local authority or private rented accommodation. the services aim to prevent homlessness, reduce hospital admissions and help clients to integrate more fully into their communities. HAIL operate other specialised projects, supporting people to move from congregated mental health settings into independent living in the community and supports people with mental health difficulties being released from remand prison to source accommodation and appropriate support services. HAIL also have a team of fully trained Peer Support Workers.
