LFAI Limited T/A The Logistics & Freight Association of Ireland, (LFAI) is a representative association for Companies in Ireland engaged in international movement of freight by all modes of transport, Air, Road, Rail and Sea. LFAI is funded and managed by LFAI members, representing members across Ireland, and aims to be a strong voice in the industry. The LFAI is a non-profit membership organisation whose council is made up of owner-managers of companies. Meetings are open for any member to attend. LFAI is controlled by its members, which give their time on a voluntary basis to establish policy and make decisions on behalf of the organisation. LFAI aims to support members and industry by lobbying on their behalf, providing advice with updates on developments within the industry both nationally and internationally. The Association aim is to promote good practice and total quality in the provision of freight services by all members, and to encourage the membership to observe the highest standards of professional competence. The LFAI is also offering discounts on products and services through its affiliated member schemes, to support companies reducing their costs and offering value for money for the membership fee. The LFAI has new 2015 Standard Terms & Conditions for members to trade with, and is up to date with current requirements and customs regulations. All discussion at LFAI meetings is confined to general industry and association affairs. The attendees, LFAI team or staff and representatives will not entertain discussion on matters likely to contravene competition law, including, and not limited to pricing, and other sensitive industry market information.” The LFAI wants to develop and build on a close relationship and exchange of information between other trade associations in all sectors in Ireland.
