Meanwhile, current college students can earn a nice amount of money from sharing their insight and experience."​ Visebox was setup in June 2017 by two 22 year olds, Eoin and Jeremiah. 1 in 6 Irish students drop out of first year of third level education. More drop out in second or third year. While other people graduate and then realise that they don't want to work in the area they studied in and are challenged to find a rewarding career that they enjoy. We setup Visebox with the intention of helping students make better decisions on the university and college courses they will study, to study something that will satisfy them during the duration of the course while leading them into a career that will fulfil them. We came up with the idea for Visebox after noticing how many of our friends were unsure of what they wanted to study. Many enrol in a course that doesn’t suit them and drop out or continue just for the sake of it. If they had spoken to a student or graduate of the course before they enrolled in it, they might have realized it wasn’t for them and opted to do another course or something more suitable. Finishing school, doing the leaving cert and becoming an adult while your future suddenly becomes a blank canvas, is an exciting but daunting time. We are working to make it straight forward.
