Formerly part of The Technical Equipment Company which was established over 70 years ago it historically was a manufacturer of premium brand switchgear supplying Government contracts, private projects and industry. This manufacturing activity was phased out in the mid eighties to allow full focus on developing two core business areas. This led to the establishment of 2 specialist companies in 2005 – TEC electric which is a distributor of electrical components to the electrical industry supplies and our sister company TEC Industrial responsible for the supply of industrial & hydraulic hoses and fittings. TEC Electric has established a very strong reputation in the market for both the quality of its product range and the level of technical service provided.. We supply to Electrical Wholesalers, Panel Builders/OEM’s, Electronic Industry and the Utilities. We pride ourselves in offering an excellent service to the customer complimented with high quality products at a competitive price.
