Dear Friends, It has been a while but we are coming back, not to normal but a new normal. We have all experienced the stress and anxiety caused by the COVID-19 pandemic these last few months and we hope you are all safe and well as we start the journey on this next path together. When we reopen, we would like to reassure you that the safety of our guests and our staff will always be a priority. We have put the highest health and safety procedures in place to ensure a smooth experience for everyone that joins us. Our chefs have designed a new concise menu that offers all the delicious flavours you know and love from Darwins. The meats are maturing in our dry-aged room and we are working closely to support local suppliers and provide the finest ingredients for all our dishes. There is lots of exciting news coming too. In these challenging times, we have adapted and downsized our restaurant with a makeover inside. A fresh new look that we cannot wait to share with you. We will be launching Darwins Brunch every Saturday and Sunday from 12pm. The restaurant will be open for dinner Wednesday to Saturday from 5pm. Brunch on Saturday and Sunday from 12pm. We will also be starting Darwins at home, a new takeout menu for collection and delivery during opening hours. Dolly, Amy & all the Darwins Team About Darwins Darwins is a family run restaurant offering contemporary cuisine that caters for vegetarian, vegan, coeliac and ‘carnivores’ diners. All our meats are carefully sourced and aged by our very own in-house butcher from a small number of specially selected farms. Our name Darwins reflects the traceability factor to ensure that we really do know the ‘origin of the species’. We have a loyal dedicated team right through from the chefs in the kitchen to the waiting staff who are always delighted to engage with our customers and ensure that everyone leaves happy and content. Dolores and Amy (mother & daughter) are both vegetarian and are very proud to offer inventive dishes to excite a wide range of taste buds.
