Our Roots: Based in the beautiful town of Westport, Co Mayo, Ireland which has strong links to the textile and knitting industries spanning several generations, we are very fortunate to be surrounded by some of the most stunning scenery imaginable – rivers, lakes, The Reek (Croagh Patrick Mountain) and of course the wild Atlantic Ocean, an infinite source of inspiration for our design team and one that is often featured in our stitch detail, not to mention our branding and labelling. Whether inspired by our surroundings or equally our knitting heritage, every stitch is steeped in symbolism, from the fisherman’s cable (representing safety and good luck) to the honeycomb (a just reward for hard work).
